WASHINGTON, N.J. (February 21, 2011) - The team of employees at Unity Bank's new Washington Township Branch, scheduled to open next month at 5 East Asbury Anderson Road and State Highway 31, will provide customers over 50 years of banking experience and a long history of community involvement.
Vanessa Galante, a longtime Washington Township resident with over 20 years of experience in community banking, will serve as the branch's Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager. Galante is a board member of the Advisory Board of Warren County Community College Small Business Growth Center, Local Advisory Board of United Way Northwest NJ, The Youth Center and the Economic Development Corporation of Warren County. A volunteer with numerous Warren County service organizations over the years, Galante had served as Store Manager/Assistant Vice President for TD Bank's Phillipsburg branch and previously held positions with Hudson United Bank and Summit Bank.

A Washington Township resident for 32 years, Angela Russo, will be a Personal Banker at the branch. An active member of the Washington Rotary Club, Russo is well known in the community having previously owned two local restaurants for over 30 years. She has also been a volunteer for the local food pantry and many charitable endeavors. Bharat Trivedi of Great Meadows will also be a Personal Banker. An employee for the last year, Trivedi is currently a Personal Banker at Unity Bank's Highland Park branch.
Union Township resident Tracy Tortorello will serve as the branch's Assistant Relationship Manager. Tortorello was with TD Bank in Phillipsburg for 12 years, serving as Store Supervisor/Customer Service Representative and Assistant Store Manager. Judy Cisco of Easton, Pa., who has 10 years of community banking experience, will be the branch's Customer Service Supervisor.
The branch will be open six days a week: Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and drive-up 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., lobby and drive-up; and Saturday, 9 a.m. - Noon, lobby and drive-up. An opening date will be announced shortly.
