CLINTON, N.J. (April 28, 2014) - Unity Bank has launched a contest for small business owners in the bank's branch footprint that will award a total of $16,000 in cash prizes, including $10,000 for the lucky winner. Four runners-up will each receive a $1,500 prize.
The Small Business Dreams BIG Contest is designed to help small business owners promote and grow their business. To be eligible, contest entrants must be the majority owner of a for-profit small business with annual gross revenue of $2 million or less and 50 employees or less. The business must be headquartered or based in one or more of the following counties:
- New Jersey - Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset, Union or Warren Counties
- Pennsylvania - Northampton County

The five finalists will be selected through a combination of social media voting and the scoring of essay questions. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by web voting during the Finalist Voting Period. The five finalists will have the opportunity to create a promotional video at Unity Bank's expense, which will be posted online for use in the final voting. The finalists are encouraged to share contest details through social media and other means to generate votes. The finalists will also receive a copy of the video to use to promote their business. The five finalists will be announced August 15 and the winner will be announced September 19.
