Unity Bank Seeks Classic Car Owners & Sponsors for Show Benefitting Family Promise

CLINTON, N.J. (June 2, 2014) - Unity Bank is seeking sponsors and classic car owners for the 8th Annual Crusin' Bob's Classic Car Show, hosted by the bank on Sunday, June 22nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Unity's Clinton headquarters, 64 Old Highway 22.

All proceeds benefit Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County. Last year, the event raised more than $6,700 for the organizations.

"This annual event is becoming a great success due to the support of the classic car owners," said Unity Bank President & CEO James A. Hughes. "Family Promise provides vital services in Hunterdon and Warren counties and we encourage car owners, businesses and the community to join us for a fun day supporting an important cause."

For car owners who pre register, a $10 donation reserves a spot in the competition, which is important because space is limited. Car owner registration on the day of the show is $15. Pre-registration is open until June 18th. The lot opens for car registration at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the show. Classic car owners compete for cash prizes, judged by participants, in 10 different categories. Please visit: unitybank.com/carshow/ for more information on registration.

Sponsorship opportunities start at $25 and range up to $250. Please contact Rosemary Fellner of Unity Bank at 908-713-4568 for details.

"The event is really a great time with all the classic automobiles on display and hundreds of people come out for a wonderful day of family fun," Hughes said. "For Unity Bank, it's extra special because we get to help great organizations and it's our one annual event where we have the community visit our corporate headquarters."

Family Promise of Hunterdon County and Family Promise of Warren County provide services to both help overcome and prevent homelessness through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) - a network of congregations and volunteers who provide overnight/weekend shelter, home-cooked meals, and companionship to families who enter the program. Comprehensive case management, licensed counseling services and a donation program are also available.
