SOMERSET, N.J. (October 21, 2015) - Throughout October, Unity Bank is hosting a Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council exhibit featuring eight local artists at its Somerset Branch, 120 Cedar Grove Lane at the intersection of New Brunswick Road.
The exhibit features paintings and photographs from members of the council's visual arts committee. The exhibit is open to the public during branch lobby operating hours. Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m. to Noon.
Unity's Somerset Branch Assistant Relationship Manager Alexander Shedlock is a member of the council's visual arts committee and has sought to partner with local non-profit organizations since the branch opened in November 2012. "As a community bank, Unity looks for interesting opportunities to support organizations serving the needs of local residents," said Shedlock. "The art exhibit has generated a great deal of interest and exposure for the Arts Council and we look forward to similar opportunities in the future."
