CLINTON, N.J. (October 28, 2016) - Unity Bank has hired two veteran Lehigh Valley bankers to expand its commercial lending program in the region and Warren County. Bringing nearly 45 years of regional banking experience to Unity, John Dittbrenner of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania has been named Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Brian Cook of Bath, Pennsylvania has been appointed Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer.

Dittbrenner has 24 years of banking experience, previously serving as Senior Lender/Chief Credit Officer for Lafayette Ambassador Bank. Dittbrenner is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Greater Valley YMCA, Boy Scouts of America Minsi Trails Council and Northampton County Industrial Development Authority. He earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Moravian College and a Master of Business Administration from Lehigh University.
Cook has 20 years of banking experience and previously served as Team Leader, Commercial Lender and Senior Vice President with Lafayette Ambassador Bank. He is a Board Member of Via of the Lehigh Valley, a non-profit organization providing services and support programs for people with disabilities. Cook is a graduate of Easton Area High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
